Several modules on yoga will be taught, including hatha yoga, vinyasa yoga (dynamic flow), and yin yoga and also emphasizes the therapeutic aspect of yoga to allow them to welcome students suffering from certain diseases, for their good and also to help others. The training is designed so that students can explore the yoga style that best suits them. They will expand their practice and improve their understanding by studying hatha yoga and vinyasa for a while leaving future teachers to find the style that best fits their natural way of teaching.
The training course is a stepping stone to become an expert yoga teacher, and the course itself gives all members a solid foundation in traditional hatha yoga, ashtanga yoga and vinyasa yoga for flow. Shree Hari Yoga gives a program that is presented in a fun, casual, modern and progressive environment.
Students must be prepared to be mentally and physically stimulated as classes vary in intensity, from physically powerful to softer and more restorative sessions. You will be invited to follow a Sattvik diet to improve your general feeling of well-being.
Personal practice of asanas
The program gives a solid foundation in traditional hatha yoga, ashtanga yoga, and vinyasa flow, focusing on the correct alignment of postures. In the classroom, you will practice traditional hatha yoga in the morning and take part in afternoon Ashtanga yoga classes. Your teacher will advise you through the first complete series with modifications. In practice, your teacher will continuously check your alignments, helping you to deepen the postures and, if necessary, correcting some details to adjust you.
Pranayama (breathing techniques)
From your first day, you will be invited to become aware of your breathing. In traditional hatha yoga and other styles of yoga, you will study the breath that initiates the movement from posture to posture. It is impossible to progress through the first series of Ashtanga without familiarizing yourself with the rhythm of your breathing, to improve your concentration. You will quickly learn 7 pranayama techniques that will help you increase your breath, your lung capacity and strengthen the nervous system.
Kriyas (cleaning) and mudras (energy joints)
Cleaning clears the system and allows the breath to flow freely. You will learn six cleaning techniques during the course. The mudras permit to seal the energy in the body. Again, classes will support the practice of both techniques.
The course of alignment anatomy
These courses will help you gain a deeper understanding of the different yoga postures, by examining in detail the body mechanics of each. A good grip of the muscular and skeletal systems in a posture, with regard to its anatomical approach, is vital for the teaching and practice of postures. The goal is that you develop a good general knowledge of anatomy, no matter the level, and you leave with a greater awareness of your body and that of your future students.
